• Seichim
Seichim Energy was channelled by a Reiki Master, Patrick Zigler, whilst lying in the Sarcophagus in the King's chamber of the Great Pyramid of Egypt. It is thought that the energy that came through was Quan Yin, Goddess of Compassion and Mercy.
Seichim is a very powerful yet feminine energy. It is an advanced form of hands-on healing energy and is said to be the parent energy of all hands-on healing systems.
The Attunement to Seichim will adjust, align and balance the Chakras to receive this Goddess Healing Energy. It will assist you to unlock doors and release stored blockages from this life and past ones.
Seichim can be either learnt with Reiki or as a stand-alone healing system.
• Reiki
The Reiki healing system has been used traditionally throughout Japan and India since ancient times. It was Dr Mikao Usui, in the mid-nineteenth century, who rediscovered this healing system.
Reiki is a completely natural healing method, accelerating the body, mind and spirit's healing process. Through giving Reiki healing sessions to yourself and others, a sense of balance, purpose and spirituality is naturally restored.
Because Reiki energy is directly connected to the source of our universe and our being, it has its own inherent intelligence. This intelligence allows it to focus on the most needed areas of healing completely automatically, thereby suiting the needs of the receiver in the very best way. During the healing sessions you will be placing your hands on the receiver according to traditional methods, but you will not actually be directing the energy to areas within the body. The Reiki energy directs itself to the correct areas, both the exterior bodily symptoms and also the deeper root causes that may exist in the mind/spirit connection.
Inner Journey facilitator, Marie Hensman, has taught Reiki for a number of years and is a tutor at a London college where she teaches Reiki.

LEVEL I
2-day workshop
Reiki is a completely natural healing method, accelerating the body, mind and spirit's healing process. Reiki 1 provides a beautiful means of self-healing and exploring your life path, as well as helping those around you. Through giving Reiki healing sessions to yourself and others, a sense of balance, purpose and spirituality is naturally restored.
Reiki healing energy is accessible to everyone and therefore very easy to learn. This simple but powerful healing energy reduces stress therefore restoring balance to the mind, body, emotions and spirit as well as increasing energy.
You are attuned to Level I Reiki-Seichim and aligned to the healing energy via powerful attunements.
The workshop covers:
• Attunements to Reiki-Seichim
• channelling the healing energy for yourself and others
• the hand positions for self and others
• learning to treat others: setting up, focusing and disconnecting
• the Reiki principles
• the background and history of Reiki
• scanning the aura during a healing session
• developing intuition
• learning about chakras, their colour and meaning
• cleansing and balancing the chakras
• beaming energy
• other uses for Reiki-Seichim
• meditation
• spiritual teachings
• using energy to manifest what you want
Giving yourself healing is a very important aspect of Reiki. By focusing on the energy it quietens the mind, relaxes the body and thereby reduces stress that most of us suffer from.
Regular self-treatment improves general health, helps us to deal with day-to-day living, increases confidence and a sense of well-being and also provides an opportunity to get to know you as a deeper level.
You are taught how to self-treat and to channel the healing energy for others - you will be able to give a healing treatment to your family and friends, who will benefit greatly from this healing energy.
This workshop provides plenty of practice over the two days, so that when you leave you will feel confident in using this healing energy.
During the workshop you will be advised the spirit guide who is working with you, so you will be able to connect to that spirit guide during your healing treatments, as well as receiving a personal message from them.
Reiki-Seichim can work well with other therapies e.g. massage, reflexology.
On completion you will be given a certificate and a manual.

Reiki shares take place on the first Monday of every month in Royston to enable you to practice your new skill and receive a treatment yourself.
